Privacy Policy — Volume Widget

RemoteKaro LLC ("we", "us", "the app") respects your privacy. This document explains what data the Volume Widget app collects, why, and your rights regarding it.

1. Data we collect

The core functionality of the app — reading and setting your device's volume — happens entirely on your device. No volume data leaves your phone.

2. How we use your data

• To understand how the app is used and improve it (analytics)
• To detect, diagnose, and fix crashes (crash reporting)

We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. The third-party services listed above process data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase / Analytics & Crashlytics (Google LLC, https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy)

4. Your rights

You can:

• Opt out of analytics in Settings → Privacy → Analytics. When opted out, analytics events are not sent.
• Request deletion of any data associated with your use of the app by emailing remotekarollc@gmail.com. Data is fully purged within 30 days of a deletion request.

The app does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, or contact information.

5. Security

All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. No sensitive personal data is stored by the app on our servers; the app does not operate user accounts or user databases.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. International transfers / GDPR (EEA users)

If you use the app from the European Economic Area, note that:

• The legal basis for processing analytics/crash data is your consent and/or our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the app.
• You have the right to access, correct, restrict, or request erasure of your personal data, and to object to processing, by emailing remotekarollc@gmail.com.
• Data processed by Firebase may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google provides safeguards for such transfers under its Data Processing Terms and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
• You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. California residents / CCPA

If you are a California resident:

• We do not sell or share (as defined by the CCPA) your personal information.
• You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
• The categories of personal information collected are described in Section 1: identifiers/device information, internet/network activity (app interactions), and diagnostics — collected by Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics as service providers processing on our behalf.
• Requests can be made by emailing remotekarollc@gmail.com.

We will update this page when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
